Justice isn’t simply a matter of jurisprudence. It’s a way to look at the world. Justice is like a lens that helps us to see clearly – even when our vision is impaired by love or hate or unconscious fears and prejudices.
We’re only human and therefore we’ll often see what we want to see, or what we already believe to be the case, rather than the truth.
Justice is a valuable corrective lens that can stop us making mistakes as a result of this human frailty. It’s a powerful aid – it just needs a little practise…
