Transferable Skills

No matter what you do, if you care enough to use your skills and talents and ideas to make the world a better place, you’ll succeed.

You don’t need to be Mohandas Gandhi or Mother Teresa to effect change in the world.

You just need to be you.

And do whatever it is you do.

  1. wow…talk about using her talents in an effective, helpful and important manner…I hope those games make it out to the general public…such an effective way to help people understand the feelings of others…wow

  2. I love how she used her talent as a game-designer to explain tragic yet important parts of history to her daughter.

I’ve never thought of games being anything more than fun and diversion, but she’s right: Games CAN change the way we perceive ourselves and others around you.

This should be a teaching methode on elementary school level.

    Thanks for sharing this

  4. I watched this, then I ran off sharing it with everybody and forgot to say thank you for sharing. I love this concept. I feel like there is some seedling here that may help me figure out how it is I can make a difference (I have an MA in Ed Tech). Thanks!!
