Very nice one… Thank you for relentelessly challenging the stereotypes. xx
PS; I’d like to see one challenging the stereotypes on women too
It would be fantastic to see one on women. If you find (or make) one let me know and I’ll post it!
Great one. Stereotypes are so damaging.
We need to be less lazy when making our judgements don’t we – glad you liked it.
Unlocking potential, I really love that.
Me too.
Thank you!
Welcome!
What a great video. 🙂 It almost made me cry. Thanks.
Me also I have to admit! Glad you liked it.
Great share: Stereoptypes are so easily accessible to everybody, thus great for movie portrayel – Sad when you get stuck on them though.
I really liked the line “Stop the pity unleash the potential” – That’s close to “Give a man a fish and he has food for a day, teach a man how to fish and he has food for his life.” and I always found that to be true. 🙂
Stereotypes are shorthand and to some extent we need them as we can’t think out everything but they are very damaging when used in any extensive way – they even ruin movies in my opinion!
If we cared 1/10th as much about proper clothing for the world’s young children as we do about how we look when we ourselves go out in public, all the children would be little fashion models.
That’s probably true but we are encouraged not to care as well so we need to look out for that manipulation. Thanks.
